This is the big one...

Can we match or improve on last week's performance given the prize at stake? Who will be available from Hull? Will they make the team?

We seemed to win with a bit in hand last Sunday but Workington won't be resting anyone and will probably be a sterner challenge this time.

Worky showed enough in attack to prove they're a good team. They can hurt us if we're not on our game.

Apart from the blip we had halfway through the season, I've really enjoyed 2018. We've certainly improved as the season has gone on. Should we lose on Sunday, it won't just be the disappointment of losing that will hit me, it's the fact that there's no more Dons to watch until 2019. Anyway, let's be positive, if we win we've got two more possible games to come!

I hope we can muster more than 689 ... there will be more away fans surely ... this is the game that matters ... both sides get up to two more chances of promotion ... now that is a juicy carrot.

Got a feeling with so much at stake that it ain't gonna be easy to ref and that someone's gonna walk.

I think their game is one that can go least wrong ... it is after all mainly pie-muncher rugby. Ours is a bit more finely tuned and certainly better to watch. But they won't be bothered if they win ugly.

So roll up for the battle of the two handbag wielding playmakers ...

Hull squad for Friday night at Wigan: Abdull Bienek Connor Downs Faraimo Fash Griffin Harris Houghton Lane Litten Matongo Paea Scott Shaul Talanoa Taylor Tuimavave Washbrook Two of the 19 won't play - hopefully that'll be Litten and Harris (if we need him to cover for Jordan Howden) Hakim Miloudi isn't in the squad but according to the Hull Daily Mail he's out with a hip injury: https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/r ... de-2046083 Does anyone know a doctor who could possibly treat Hakim with a miracle cure after the Hull bus has set off for Wigan?

I guess that Harris only will be available to us. Litten by all accounts had a good game against Catalans when he came on.

I doubt Harris will be available either, 2 of the 19 named by Hull are doubts .

What do we do if there's no Liam Harris or Jordan Howden? Do we have to play Kes in the halves? But then we've only got Keiran Cross for hooker.

Might Jack Miller play? That would seem like a big risk as he hasn't played for ages.

Jack Logan is ruled out for the rest of the season. That's a big blow.
