I think it's a fair point that when we needed DR the most we didn't get the players who could have made a difference. With this in mind, we must have a squad that is good enough to stand alone. Maybe it was Hull's acute injury situation that was to blame but who's to say that won't happen again?
The positive news was that our squad players who aren't getting game time will probably be able to play in the Hull reserves. That should allow us to have a bigger squad without players leaving due to not playing matches.
However, our squad is still short on numbers at the moment. Hopefully, there will be some further additions, preferably ones who will be first team regulars, rather than players to bolster the squad.
