Yes, disappointing for us but the chance to play a division higher must have been a pull.

Had we have been promoted it might have been a different outcome.

That is one fewer beefy forwards to choose from ...
Not good.
We still haven't bought any beef for next season and that looks bad ... as in penny pinching bad.

Really disappointed for us. Ross is the sort of player who makes a difference. We're now shorter on 'beef' than I hoped we'd be.

To have a good chance of winning the league next season, I think we need a couple more big lads for the front row. We got few injuries to the props this season but we need more strength in depth simply to provide cover too.

Maybe the club's plans were put on hold with regards to who else to sign until Ross made his decision? Let's hope we get some good news shortly.

Good luck to Ross. With the right coaching, I can see him in Super League in a couple of years time. I'm sure playing at a higher level influenced his decision and I can't blame him for that. I'd like to think he would have stayed with us had we gone up.

Looking at the numbers of forwards/backs we have I'd be surprised if many more forwards were coming in. One maybe..so lets hope it's a big un!

The new guy from halifax looks a strong lad so I'd say him and Osbourne were like for like but we're certianly no bigger up front yet, and that is where many feel we were at our weakest
