Gone to batley. Doesn’t say if it’s permanent or on loan but says in the article he’s gone there to get more experience... so that’s one of the supposed better Hull players we won’t be getting.

Now confirmed as a loan deal... so what sort of deal has Carl really agreed with Hull. Here’s a load of cash but feel free to loan any of your better reserve players out to other clubs.... I’m sorry but this whole thing has become a joke.

He is still injured and will get clearance from the Physio in the next few days.
Its a loan and Hull want him to have a month getting fit and ensure that he plays at least 4 matches

Thanks to my Dad for telling me this many moons ago but I think it is a quote that can be attributed to Maurice Bamford.

"Smells like rotten kippers"....kinda sums up the deal with Hull.

Seems clear were going to get the "better" players who are not good enough for the Championship.

I’ll try to be positive and assume that the loan to Batley results from the fact that their season kicks off two weeks before we do.

LB will get a couple of competitive games under his belt towards his return from injury before we kick a ball in anger.

Alternatively, Carl’s deal with Hull isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

Time will tell.

He’s not joining Batley on loan for another 2-3 weeks when he will be back fit. Exactly when our season starts. So I would say your second theory looks to have the most truth in it.

Only time will tell how the 'new' arrangement with Hull will work. We're all guessing at the moment. We will only know when we've played two or three games.

In the past, Richard Horne has said that he would not play any players who were carrying knocks or weren't fully fit.

Perhaps he was offered first refusal on Lewis Bienek but decided he didn't want him to come here to 'get fit' as it doesn't fit in with his policy regarding playing players that aren't 100% ready for it?

I might be wrong. I'm just speculating....
