Fans Panel Meeting
Thursday 11th July 2019

Welcome
• CH thanked everybody for attending, a discussion was had about the previous minutes regarding playing away from the Keepmoat, as previously explained the only options when playing away to meet the RLF guidelines is to play at Castle Park or Featherstone. As explained we was informed last year we could use Castle Park but due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control this was not possible, so the only option was to play at Featherstone.
Wembley Challenge Cup Trip
• As a club we are allocated so many tickets for The Challenge Cup Final. It’s a fantastic day out and we would like everyone to try and help us push the sale of tickets. The day will be run by Ray Green & Stuart Piper.
Questions From The Forum
RS Via CG: Why are the club not looking at putting on a coach to the 'home 'Games at Fev?
• CH as previously advised there would be no transport as we have previously offered and only 5/6 people used the service. GB asked CH if we could look into maybe subsidising a coach to the Workington game on last day of the season, CH will look into this.
ST Via CH: Are we any closer to creating a ladies team.
• Tollbar are setting up a ladies team, so would not be a good move to start one at the same time, but we will be there to support them in needed.
PB: If we get promoted will the price of the season tickets change?
• SL advised he is working on various season ticket ideas and offers and will update at the next meeting.
ML: I’ve heard rumours that League 1 won’t be around by 2021?
• CH informed that he had been in a Championship and League 1 meeting and nothing has been mentioned within the Rugby League, so not sure where the rumour has come from.
A general discussion was had about player’s fitness, injuries, dual reg opinions.
Any Other Business
• MH advised that he had emailed all Dons4Life members to arrange a meeting for Thursday 18th July and had had only 1 reply. Asked if people could reply to his email.
