Weather for tomorrow up there (as most places) looks wet and wet with some more wet. Not exactly ideal for the Dons type of game.

Wet weather is better for forwards and we struggle at times in this area.
So I will be very surprised and delighted if we win.

And Newcastle have two big players back to enhance those middles. If we manage to win this one it will be a very good victory.

I don't care if we lose as long as we turn up.
Sometimes you get the feeling that it's a loss from the kick-off and that is so frustrating to watch.
However they were being roundly slagged off at halftime in the very first game of the league campaign and came back.
If we are twenty odd points down at HT this time we are toast. Got to compete from the off and for the 80 mins.
And we may win.

I didn't think Newcastle looked all that good for long periods against Workington last week. When the defence gets in their face they don't cope very well.

If we keep our intensity, I can see Newcastle struggling to break us down, but much will depend on controlling the ball in the conditions. If either side coughs up possession easily, especially when coming away from their own line, it could prove very costly.

I've got to admit I'm surprised bookies have it level. This is going to be a game more than most we've played this season which will be defined in the 1st 10 minutes. A big 1st 10, NO mistakes and our application will see us through. I expect us to have to be very canny with our interchange and be lucky injury wise. We've got points in us once defence is on top
