What's pink & hard first thing in the morning?

U reckon west Wales dragged you down to their level abs whilst you played like them the scores were close, once they lost Rangi they lost their war and you guys switched on, your right edge just tore them apart and the then started leaving gaps in the middle, fitness very much took its toll to, you very much deserved the win, but some soft tries let in, especially the two under the sticks when they just pushed one up, referee baffling at times once again

Thought we were a bit patchy at times . An encouraging performance from Holdsock who showed some pace to score .

More to come from the Dons .

I've said today that Douglas is probably our best forward. Does anyone else think his try should have been an 8 point try,?

Fair comment overall. I just think if we tighten up our concentration and discipline we can beat anyone except possibly Workington and Barrow. Even then we could nick a couple of points there. We're a work in progress so we have to be happy with 2 from 3.

Big ask is that Rob. You know our record in Cumbria

We've certainly got some players who are able to unlock defences. We're seeing more glimpses of what the players are capable of both individually and as a team. We should get stronger still in the coming weeks.

I thought West Wales were a much better side than previously and seem to be narrowing the gap between them and the rest. Good liuck to them and Rangi for the rest of the season.

We definitely seem to have more depth to the squad than we've had in recent seasons with those coming in doing well.

On balance there are more positives than negatives at the moment although we've worryingly had some defensive frailties exposed in all three games so far. This needs to be sorted or else we could well end up losing some of the closer games because of it.

I think that's fair statement. Defense certainly needs work. I agree that our depth has certainly improved. Holdstock was a testament today to how strong our back row is. Johnson and York have looked very impressive. I'm looking forward to seeing Joe Fella at some point. His dad was a very underrated prop. Overall I think we're solid without being outstanding. Which 3 games in is fine

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

Wilf was right at 22-18 I was not happy...but I was grateful that we were keeping up with West Wales.
But we came good though...
Rangi had a great game and we stood off him to allow him to..
Was in the toilet as his try was announced...I nearly pished myself....lol

Positives...Douglas is back to being a beast.
Holdstock was happier than Larry for his great try.
Beryl was the MAN!
Ben Johnston demonstrated the point I am making about him playing in the HALVES....
My favourite player never played and had a blinder.
The list goes on...

The defence is powder puff and conceding an average of 30 points a game....

Owing to circumstances I ended up watching the first half of Eagles vs Fev...
I reckon only about ten folk stayed...
Anyway Fev were really good in attack and scored 6 first half tries...I almost felt sorry for the Eagles.
Almost...

I thought both Johnston and Holdstock had really good games coming off the bench.

West Wales seemed to lose their way a little after losing Rangi and we took advantage with some strong carries and offloads as they tired.
