2 good wins now against the top 2 sides.
Wheels are now back on the train.

Team spirit and attitude is tremendous at the minute. Obviously Matty is a loss but Ben Johnstons return largely mitigated that.

Impressive win and a much better structure. Well played lads you made Worky look average. :thumb:

I've commented on their board how dispiriting it must have been for that side defensively to have to deal with Tali returning almost every kick off. It's like an extra tackle every set.

Solid performance with plenty of threats across the field. Liam Tindall's try was a joy to watch. His pace in broken play must be a nightmare to deal with.

We've looked better since Oliver Greensmith came back. I liked the options taken by Ben Johnstone to run into the corners on the sixth tackle rather than kicking into touch. Worky found it hard to get out there.

Jake Sweeting has brought something to the side as well. Ben Cockayne played a smart game when he came on too.

All-in-all, we seem to be playing with more structure and we're defensively more co-ordinated than at any other time during the season.

If we end up with a trip to Barrow or Workington in the play-offs, we've certainly given both of them something to think about.

Hopefully we can keep this form going over the next couple of games.

A good win today . Would have been more emphatic if we had a goal kicker. Ben Johnson did well , think he was carrying a knock also. Oliver Greensmith brought the ball out well , the pack was solid & Jason Tali solid in defence . Good team display ! Oh and Jack Tindall's try was superb !

To be fair to Sweeting he wasn't far off with his kicks and he's probably out of practice in a match situation. He may well improve

Forwards deserve a big mention, only one that you would call a big unit (Zac) but the way they handled their pack was impressive. Ben Cockayne may have lost a yard or two of pace but his tackling and work rate you cannot fault.

Our defence was impressive today the stuttering of the Workington play near our line was testament to that defensive line that they held. Once again well done Dons it was enjoyable to watch and Tindalls try was out of the top drawer (big future hopefully for that lad)

I'd be over the moon if we could get a season loan next year for Tindall. That lad is a genuine talent and I expect him to become a regular for Leeds once he's got a good spell of 1st grade rugby behind him.
