Heartbreaking is the word I'm hearing from most people.
I'm just gutted. This is why we do it though isn't it? Sport can be both incredibly cruel or totally uplifting and the margins can be so fine. I feel incredibly sorry for all involved.

The Dons' players must be feeling sick.

The play-offs now look like this:

Week One: N Wales v Keighley & Dons v Hunslet (loser is eliminated)

Week Two: Loser of N Wales v Keighley plays Winner of Dons v Hunslet (loser is eliminated)
Week Two: Workington v Winner of N Wales v Keighley (loser gets a second chance)

And one of those played the second half on one leg (heroic effort by Brandon Douglas)

Not ideal route but we get chance next week to avenge the 'Covid' home defeat.

A heroic effort after being a man down when 12-0.
No comment on the sending off as i couldnt see from the East Stand .
Some big efforts today , Douglas on 1 leg battled on as did others .

Some fans on TRL site now have Keighley has favourites for the second promotion spot. Not sure they would be writing that if they had been at the Keepmoat this afternoon. Any how if we are going to achieve something out of this torrid year its going to be hard yards and tired bodies.

Dear Lord can we have at least one of our regular half backs returning soon. And that is not taking anything at all away from young Jake Sweeting who had a really good game today and appears to me to be growing in stature.

2 rumoured signings for next season I heard today beggar belief. If true then I'd be astonished and delighted in equal measure. I suspect there's no truth in either though so best assume not
