The League One fixtures for 2022 are due to be published on 15th November.

With Coventry becoming Midlands Hurricanes and Cornwall RLFC entering the comp, the league will comprise of 11 teams.

Let's hope the RFL can also declare what teams are playing for but it's perhaps far too early for us to expect anything as radical as that!

You can't please everyone all of the time, can you? I would assume the Central Funding that was previously in place will remain in place for next season too. At least this news creates some level of stability.

Wasn't the funding unrelated, that TV deal has ended and a new one put in place which doesn't have enough for the third tier

Trying to keep on top of what's happening is an impossible task, Jemmo. You could well be right that the funding deal ended as there was talk of how League One coverage for next season would be via the Our League App with some games played on Monday night.

A Monday night match in Cornwall would no doubt go down a treat with clubs!

The Monday night deal was done with Premier Sport, but was just Championship clubs in the end
