the new investor and chairman were announced at the fans forum donkeys ago (although their identity remains a mystery)...

i find it amusing all the mystery they are trying to build about the identity of the new guys coming in. hardly that interesting- would prefer us to have signed lockyer or billy boston is coming out of retirement to play on the wing.

i'm hoping mo lindsay might come on board if the new owner is different to the new chairman...he is a part time fylde resident after all...however i will more than likely be wrong.

One things for sure, they'll need some new investment to keep payng all these win bonuses - talk about nosebleed time

Then again, it could be to announce Lockyer has signed and we're moving to a brand new 20k all seater stadium next to Palatine School....we can dream...

The great big fantastic super duper amazing news was....

the panthers in the community scheme failed to work and they are now replacing it with a lottery syndicate type thing...

wasn't worth waiting around 30mins for...

So the great big news was that one of our schemes failed? Not that it was ever going to do anything but as we simply do not have the fanbase to support such a scheme.

Sometimes I absolutely despair at some peoples ability to point the gun squarely at their own size 9's.

Still, a lottery syndicate eh? That'll set people's pulses racing...

In fairness, this scheme is more likely to do better than the 'panthers in the community' which like you said, required a bigger fan base. It is tied into the Lancs cricket club lottery scheme to allow greater potential winnings, and then you can win some other items that the club are putting up.

However, as a semi-casual fan, I would be more tempted to buy a season ticket or shirt to put fund in the club...

I agree, but I think the whole thing could have been handled so much better from a PR perspective.
