right, since the widnes game was called off, really not the most entertaining weekend, who's going this week if its on, quite hopeful myself since everything is melting here, the slush reigns in blackpool.

Pretty bad over Leeds way still though I believe so not sure if Fev will get this match on. The cancelled the match they were due to be having there yesterday.

In this week's league express, MC says that he has discussed switching the match to Woodlands with Fev depending upon the weather in Yorkshire. A decision should be made by Thurs at the latest.

On a seperate note, the club are a bit gutted about losing the Widnes match as it was a cash cow. Sadly, we don't seem to have one of those either in the Northern Rail cup with having Keighley and Gateshead at home. Shame we couldn't have had Barrow at home instead of away!

woodlands was still in a pretty bad way on monday and its still icy around lytham so i wouldn't be too optimistic about getting it on at home right now

Spoke to someone at Fev this afternoon and they are busting a gut to get it on over there.

The pitch although snow covered at the moment is soft underneath and work has already started on clearing the car park, terracing etc.

I'd expect it to go ahead as planned if the forecast for the next 3-4 days is correct.
