There is an element of truth in Chris Irvine's April 1st blog, because Mickey Rourke has recently expressed interest in both Rugby League and also my four novels which all have a strong Rugby League background (more details below).This came out of him meeting Keith Mason and Scott Moore in London after the Challenge Cup Final last August.
Anyway this coming Saturday morning (May 8th) I will be in WH Smith in Dewsbury from 10 onwards signing copies of my latest novel, One Autumn, which has a background of Work, Family Life and Rugby League. So if you are looking for a novel that presents Rugby League and its fans in a very positive way and might also be a good Fathers' Day present, or if you want to get your name down as an extra in the film if it comes off, then I will be pleased to meet you.
