An Oldham Rugby League Memoir : Mon May 18, 2015 8:41 pm
"From Watersheddings to Whitebank. An Oldham Rugby League Memoir" is an account of one supporter's memories, heartbreaking and joyous moments and anecdotes. lt is written by Craig Halstead who saw his first match in 1971 as a 5 year old and has supported the club ever since.
The book has been published by London League Publications and is now on sale at the offices of the Oldham Evening Chronicle. There are quite a collection of interesting books on sale there, maybe half are sport, mainly rugby league and soccer and the other half about the many different aspects of the town's history. Well worth a visit for anyone looking for a Fathers' Day present or something to take on holiday. More details of the book and a lot more can be seen on the publisher's web site.
