The new coach is Darren Holt with Phil Atkinson as his assistance, this in my opinion is an excellent decision, I just hope that the new board give the new coaching team the time that is required to put a competitive team together, the club needs stability in this department, something that was sadly lacking under the old regime.

I think the BOD have made a very wise choice appointing these 2, they were both legends in there own right and will provide excellent knowledge when recruiting players from the local area, I would be very surprised if we don't tempt 1 or 2 of our Barrow based players from up the coast.

I don't think we'll see Holty playing too much next season, we have plenty of cover in the halves in Campbell and Finch with strong rumours that Kaighan and Pedley will be returning from Town.
