I havn't palyed that perso but a simlar thing happend to me last night. I kicked the ball from around half way, there fullback picked it up in goal so i thought great i will tackle him in goal and force a dropout. WRONG their fullback ran through my players and i dont mean by breaking tackles literally through 4 of my players until he got to just after half way when it looked like one of my players was going to catch him. WRONG AGAIN, the game paused for a split second and somehow their player was now 10 metres from my try line and my players were still back at half way. :x :x :x :x

Yeah, played him.

Don't play Nugget123456789, Dave_roby or Davestah.

All sent me messages, not very nice ones, when I've quit when they've gone 6-0 up in the first second due to me not being able to actually play the game. Odds are guys, if someone chooses an NRL team they're from Australia.

Should be fine playing any SL players really... Obviously if they've got a name like ... Wakey or Hull fan or something, you'll be fine. But, just be aware of those that choose NRL teams.

Lol, that Nugget12 git went 18-0 up against me in the 1st half so I quit and got obusive messages off him all night. Nugget must be using a lag switch modded controller I just couldn't make 1 tackle and I'm not that bad at the game.

Nice to see a small community of english players here. Add me on PSN, mattjolley, I'm away til the 19th december but I'd like a game against someone without lag, eventually! :D

Saint Ryan, everytime I replied to your invites the other week it timed out as soon as I accepted it. I dunno what was happening.

Dunno which game you're playing bud, but RL Live is awful. Anyone thinking about getting it, don't waste your money.

The issues with the gameplay itself are too numerous to mention but to say there's nothin intelligent about the AI would be an understatement. There's so much wrong with it - but surely something as simple as sticking a prop at first receiver on every last tackle is an easy fix and for £45 should've been. The sound and commentary are awful, the motion capture is awful, players jump around all over the place, it's repetitive and predictable, and the online mode is a joke as there's never anyone to play. If what I've read from people who've played a game online is true, I've nothing to look forward to either.

Absolute rubbish.

Re: Rugby League 2010 - For ps3. : Tue Jan 04, 2011 4:08 pm
Well, it's a big step back from the original Rugby League game on the PC, isn't it.

It's a shame, really it is, it plays more like the original demo.

1) It's IMPOSSIBLE to kick the ball out on the full with a Super League Team from the kick off. And believe me, I've tried. You need NSW or Queensland teams to get the distance to reach the sideline.

2) 40-20s... so far, even with wind assistance, I cannot get the distance for a 40/20, no matter what team I pick. Forget even trying in Super League.

3) Trophies don't seem to work. I had to win THREE matches with over 5 tries and a 100% kicking record before I finally received the trophy. As for the one awarded for a breakaway try from behind the 10 metre line, done it many times, still not got the trophy.

Online, it's ok. First match seemed alright, but then I played against someone with ridiculous lag, his player's stood still with me coming into the tackle, then suddenly re-appear behind my defensive line, leaving me hoping for a full back rescue, no chance at all.

On the plus side, it's a good challenge when you crank the difficulty up a bit. Thanks to Uncharted 2 running quadruple money on multiplayer over Christmas, I haven't invested too much time in the online side of RLL, but I will be now, so if anyone wants a match, the PSN name is Fishsta. PLEASE put "RLFans" or something in your friend request or I won't accept it (Anyone else get random people you've not even played against trying to add you?).
