Right guys, I'm very sorry to say that we are going to have to cancel the tournament as there have been too many people deciding not to play their games. I have even sent out PMs to some players which have been ignored. This annoyed me slightly as it only takes one minute to reply to a message; even if you were going to tell me you were no longer interested.
I thought this tournament would be a nice way to practise for the new season and get to know each other but at least it's given me an idea of who is committed.
This WILL be taken into consideration when I sort out the SL season. Ideally, I want to fill two leagues but if I can only fill one, those who decided to ignore this competition after the hard work I put in to organize it, will miss out.
It's very disappointing after I've spent a long time liaising with the admin team and sorting out a site. If people aren't going to be able to commit to the SL season, then let me know because I don't want to go through the trouble of organizing it, for some players to decide they can't be bothered.
I'll start to organize the SL season over the next few days starting with those who participated in this tournament and then going through the order of which people signed up. Still places available so if you know anyone else who wants to play, get them involved.
