I emailed them around a month back, they are not saying no but at the moment they are working on other things but they said that they will keep an open mind about a possible second game

I think they are concentrating on an Aussie Rules game next.

It will be a long time I reckon, this one was again poor....

The company that developed all the 09 series of EA sports games releases Rugby World Cup this year and from what Ive seen it looks incredible runs on the fifa 11 engine. League games will never be that good as theres a lot involved and not enough selling points as its only ever going to really sell in england and australia.

Agreed. There's just not enough demand for the big boys, such as EA Sports, to get involved.

It is a poor game, I play it simply because it is a Rugby League game.

Does anyone remember Australian Rugby League on the mega drive? That was done by EA Sports.

Moving onto the 16-bit era, there was this one on the Megadrive: http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/1193/australianrugbyleaguecola6.jpg http://www.vgmuseum.com/pics2/AustralianRugbyLeague%28GS%29.gif And the Wembley game for the Amiga, which I actually had on the PC. Strange how the 16-bit era is so barren... Although there was also a RL Coach game, Amiga Action gave away a demo of it, and I've just found both those games were by Audiogenic... http://www.audiogenic.com/amsports.htm Then we're into the PC and modern era, and Alternative Software seem to be the major players... Super League Pro Rugby The original Rugby League (Sidhe) game (no link on their website???) A PSP RL game? And obviously Rugby League 2 and 3... Have I missed any? Probably.
