Anyone else heard rumour going around that if Mr Koukash pushes his Split reform thr RFL are looking at changing the promotion relegation scenario.
It will change from the middle 8 folly to expanding the Superleague to 14 teams leaving the 12 that is there already and promote the top 2 of the championship at the end of this season then two up two down from then on in

Too late to make any changes this season, obviously.

If there is a split, then the whole point is that the RFL would be cut out of decision-making. while some of the SL chairmen might not admire the RFL, that isn't the same as having a shared vision. But I wouldn't be surprised if enough wanted to move away from the current system.

I thought it was rubbish last year and we won it, It is rubbish if we are to have it should be 1 up and 1 down or not bother

2 down I've heard, 10 team SL playing each other 3 times. 11th and 12th will drop into the championship and P&R to be scrapped from next year
