It really is a fantastic area for ale drinkers. There are other hidden gems like Hop & Vine down Albion Street, but for a visitor to Hull it'd be best sticking to the one area probably, so therefore the above suggestions are all great.



Not sure about getting to the ground from there though, e.g. taxis might be very busy because of the festival.

I have been in there on a couple of occasions with the wife and was pleasantly surprised how nice they have made it since the refurb, some nice beers on offer as well.
