Hi KR fans ....

I was about to post on the Ha, Ha, Ha thread that it was quite wrong & immature to wish harm on another RL Club.

Having avoided posting here post MPG so as not to court or illicit negativity or ill feeling, I felt it time to chip in, low & behold I find the thread locked (no real surprise) & that the very 1st post is an insightful & intelligent dissertation by Hull12345 or whatever he calls himself.

So, the reason I am here. Well firstly to say hard luck, it can't be nice running that gamut of emotions during & after the game, but also to say that I hope you find your way back to SL soon.

I can't be two faced about these things & so I will lay it down straight. Originally & when it was concluded that KR would play Salford, I leant towards a KR win & survival in SL ahead of Salford. As comments came from Cockayne & Webster (very negative comment about Leigh) + Peacock's earlier comment about taking money back from the Championship & giving it to SL Clubs, I & quite a few others changed our opinion, instead wanting Salford to survive.

Now originally I felt that a team/club like KR who have a strong fan base & who travel in numbers have much more benefit to Leigh, Sky TV & Super League Clubs as a whole *financially* than Salford ever would, but some ill advised (I felt) comments swung the opinions of many.

Back to my original point.

I do hope you get back to SL quickly, not at the expense of Leigh obviously, but get back nevertheless. I hope Bradford make their way back too as I see a lot of benefit in having the Clubs with the strongest core fan bases in SL & on Sky TV, after all, who wants silent & empty stadia on TV & for other Clubs, a strong travelling away support brings revenue.

You will find that there is some very good & often more entertaining RL being played in the Championship. For those who haven't taken notice of 2nd tier until now, it has moved on quite well over recent years & you might find that some of the SL TV games were actually a bit of a bore fest by comparison.

So, not all is lost, my preference is to actually increase the number of SL Clubs & I for one hope that KR & Bradford are in the mix.

wish harm ? what the hell you on about, we are two teams from hull who are rivals, sorry but most fc supporters will have been doing the same, if rovers supporters on here can tell me if it was roles reversed you would have been shouting for us and been sad if we had got beat well good for you, tell me why should I be sad to see rovers go down, as for harm grow up,

You're overreacting, which is not like you. In defense of our Leyther friend, I think you know what he meant. You can forgive the wayward semantics.

It's a constructive post and we appreciate the sentiments expressed and the goodwill for the future. SL is all the poorer for the lack of Hull KR and the Hull rivalry, the absence of Bradford and possibly Fev. It is all the richer for having Leigh on board, as their infrastructure and support is consistent with the standards of a successful domestic RL premiership competition.
