I'll say what I said on the Wigan forum. You lot did the Robins proud tonight - very vocal and brought a great atmosphere.

BUT - the couple of lads who were evicted, including one who punched a much older (60ish) steward, and the couple of drunks who needed sorting out, plus the those who threw objects - I saw items thrown on at least 5 occasions - really let the rest of you down.

There was no need, Wigan and KR have always had a great relationship and there was nothing in tonight's game to get shirty about.

Still some of the best away fans to visit the DW every year, and that was a belting game tonight. :)

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I personally found it rather cack.

Absolute scum of the lowest order to throw things on the pitch. Hopefully with the amount of stewards that were down that end and cctv the culprits will be found and banned from every sports ground forever.

Name and shame if you know them people, name and shame.

Really? We thoroughly enjoyed it - and as my Mrs said at the end "it never felt like we were ahead". Your first half was immense and it always felt like you were about to come back into it mount a fightback. Some of your attacking play was superb but Maguire has our defence so well drilled they rarely overcommit.

At least your lot showed some real spirit. Look at our last result against FC!! :)

It was okay, I suppose, begrudgingly!

I at 18-14 we were in with a shout but your try before half time mortally wounded us.

We're a bit predictable, we play a low risk game and if the opposition score four tries, we'll lose. I didn't think our attacking play was that good, Murrell and Galea didn't go so well and when our short kicking game doesn't fire, which it didn't, we struggle to create anything else. Kudos has to go to you for shutting us down as much as us not doing it. As is well documented, we badly need another half.

I was pleased and proud that we didn't just roll over and completely die, after your first try in the second half I felt we were really looking down the barrel but we came back and showed real pride in the shirt.

Thanks for the effort Rovers over the season and good luck Wigan for the rest of the series.

I can't argue with any of that, I too counted five things being thrown onto the pitch, it's embarassing and totally not characteristic of 99% of our support. Sadly it seems these idiots come out when we have a bit of success. As said above name and shame, get rid of them, we don't need or want people like that associated with our great club. I thought Wigan's stewards handled the situation really well.
