Not much to disagree with there. I'd maybe have Moss or potentially even Logan for Shaw as I'm peronsally not a Shaw fan.

Half back will be interesting call. I'd like to see consistency whether it be Atkin, Addy or Blair who we see as the 6 until Abdull is back.

I'm also not yet convinced playing 2 halfs plus Addy and Blair in the backrow is our best line up. I think we suffer from too many chefs at times. If it's Atkin and Ellis I'd maybe stick with Kav at loose and move Addy to the bench.

moss-logan(if fit)Heffernan-minns-carney-quinlan-atkin-scruton-lunt-clarkson-greenwood-blair-addy---------- masoe-jewitt-dzc-kavanagh the 4 subs------ sheens obviously dosent rate quinlan in the halves but has had some good games in nrl in that position,, shaw, ellis need long rests

I personally would never play Addy in the spine again unless we want to throw a game; he simply cannot pass the ball to his right?

For the Fax game I wouldn't be too fussed to play the big names - Carney, Masoe (if he arrives in time) - preferring to unleash them against Leigh. If the rest of the squad can't beat Fax then we may as well give up!

My main concern is the loss of form (and confidence) of Ellis. I'm told he is not in either the Giants or Rovers (at present) plans for next season and it appears to have coincided with his dip in form. I can see Sheensy continuing to 'tinker' and it wouldn't surprise me to see Ellis dropped for Atkins and either Blair or Quinlan at off half.

I expect to see Minns, Heffernan and Lawler in the 17 who are all vital for the 8s IMO

There's no way he will drop Ellis at this stage after using him all year. I'd be tempted to use Blair at 6 tho.

The two competition points against fax are close to vital to our chances, points difference could be crucial and we need to play our way into form.

The time to pace ourselves is gone. We need to come out all guns blazing, pedal to the metal, with the turbo-charged big egg-breaking stick. Every minute really does matter for us in these games.

Totally agree..Rest no one. We have to go full tilt every game, every point in the table counts including points difference which could be crucial.
