It seems salford and a couple of other superleague clubs are interested in signing chris who is out of contract at the end of the season.Bearing in mind maguire is retiring,surely we should be getting him signed on to a new contract.Any thoughts ?

The club have offered him a deal but the longer it drags out the more worrying it gets

I know he's not happy with the game time he is getting,imo would be a big loss,most games he has been good.

Maybe getting poor game time to stalling on the new deal ?or has he declined it and deal is at a stalemate ? Or is the agent playing clubs off against each other to lever Chris a better deal elsewhere so club is playing hardball?
Has he agreed to sign somewhere else

Sheens said on RH tonight they are still negotiating He also said Thomas Minns may be 're signed.. Swerved the Scruton question. Seemed fairly relaxed and quietly confident.

The rumour is/was Amor taking his place or a young prop from Donny? I like Scruton as a player and can imagine he is good around the squad as a senior forward but with Greenwood gone for season and Jewwitt and Lannon not taking the field much Masoe out we are desperate for another big unit. I agree frankie it's time to pull the trigger either way

Just seen the derby line up,no place in the 17 for atkin,no wonder he hasnt signed a new deal.If a back or half back picks up an injury,who steps in ?
