We'll know "by the weekend" according to Humberside, so tomorrow, then. Who's your money on? I'll go with Matt Cameron as this will be the most exciting option for MrPhilb, but Moore seems to be the favourite. Shan't sleep tonight.

Since when did Radio Blunderside determine when the club make official statements ?

Is the reason you shan't sleep the worry over dodgy tax deals and youth policy of a certain shambles squating in the KFC

Let's face it, they're generally more reliable on timescales than your CEO.

Let's face it, the off season has traditionally been the best time of year to support FC. Tons of promises year after year, aimed at driving up pass sales. Annual rumour fest about Rovers going bust, and huge threads on your site about how high up the table you will finish (its usually "top 4 plus CC semi's mimimum" type comments). It's like a lovely dream that gets shattered every February.

Having said all that, even I can see that AP may break the mould. Best budget for some brasso from now on.

You say that about FC, but is it much different at Rovers? You're in the mid table mediocrity bucket with us and articulate similar aspirations, indeed Zod's been rumoured to have said that with a few astute signings you should be challenging for top 2 next season.

The good thing about being a Hull fan at the moment is the context. Less than 2 months ago our off season was with Kath and Agar in charge. Now we've got the Silver Fox avec chequebook, new coach, new conditioner, new DOR, Andy Lynch, reduced season pass prices, maybe (however ridiculous it may be) Jamie Lyon. You can't widdle on my bonfire, cockle. AP's pouring the petrol of hope on it. Not like we've signed a coach with "concerns about his character", is it? (see what I did there, getting us back on topic  )

How does this one go again? I assume it's an R.B.A. stylee theory about us getting booted out of the KC by the Allams who are behind "Pearson's" acquisition? Could you either be a bit clearer, or talk about Rovers new coach please? I went to school with a lad called Kevin Moore. Obviously not your Kevin Moore, he's much older than me.

You cannot possibly extrapolate Zod's delusional rants and make out that your average Rovers fan has such lofty ambitions. I expect a higher level of logic in your posts, cockle

Anyway, The Andy Lynch signing, that's screwed your "avatar" theory, which is why I suspect you have hastily dispensed with Stevie Mac! Which brings us right back on topic - dodgy coaches. 8)

I like what you did there. Who is the mystery fallback candidate if it turns out the character concerns about Moore can't be put aside? We hear that they are down to two. Wrigley?
