I thought that the lady from the Supporters Trust gave a very thorough and detailed presentation. With regards my fellow Robins, i felt that there are differing views as to the aims and purpose of a Trust. With that in mind i think we are some distance off forming a Trust that would have a clear purpose. There is no reason why further meetings couldnt take place but i fear that at present there are individuals who have their own agenda that will stop this getting off the ground.
Mike Smith was 15 minutes late aswell which i thought gave an indication of how important the Club view this. He also proceeded to talk rubbish..
Contrary to the view expressed by RBA, the overall consensus was that it was well worth taking this process on to the next level and a group was given the go ahead to arrange a future open meeting for all supporters with Hull KR at heart to attend, this meeting will then decide whether a Supporters Trust will be a going concern at MS3 Craven Park.
Once this meeting has been arranged a wide advertising campaign will be put out to advise everybody who is interested when and where it will be held. The snipe about Mike Smith was totally unjustified as he was orginally advised the meeting started at 7.30pm, this was a breakdown in communication which was totally out of his control. As soon as the problem had been discovered he was called and he left home immediately in order to get to the stadium as soon as possible. The fact that the meeting was delayed by 10 to 15 minutes while waited for other fans to arrive also helped him to avoid missing anything important.
With regard to some people have their own agendas that might be so, but the Trust will not stand or fall on one persons say so, it will stand or fall on a majority decision of eveybody who attends the open meeting.
