We would appear to be making an absurd gamble on TC's fragile legs.
Let's have a sweep on the minutes he will last this time. I will go for 18.
Tbf, if he's fit he should play. It's what he's paid to do ateotd. We've not got lots of good alternatives. And if he did breakdown again, at least we'd know in time to do something before the 8s.
If he's not fit, he has to be in the 19 for distraction value. Marginal, but might help us keep the score vaguely respectable. Thornley and Clarkson are back in the 19 too.
Hull look like what they are at the moment - a top of the table team. I don't buy the 'form goes out of the window' stuff. With a handful of exceptions, in SL, we've mostly won derbies when we've had the better team, and lost more often when they've been stronger. Here's hoping for one of the exceptions on Sunday!

I'd take a close loss at this stage. Hull FC should win this comfortably and i'd be surprised and a little shocked if they don't.

I was told last week that the club have invested in a new piece of machinery costing, if my memory serves me correctly, about £80,000. The purpose of this new machine is apparently, to discover the severity of damage to the hamstring including even the smallest detail that is not always picked up by normal methods of assessments . They say it is a canny piece of technology that will be able to determine in much more minute detail, any type of hamstring injury which will then give the doctors and physiotherapist a better idea of recovery time. If it lives up to its claim then it could turn out to be a very good investment, its also perhaps why they are able to give Campese the all clear.

This was also mentioned at the recent fans forum. JP seemed very enthusiastic about it.

I didn't know you were an optomist stan,we are running a sweepstake on what injury it will be this time.Hopefully we are both proved wrong and he tears the opposition apart, would be but iam not holding my breath.Come on you reds.
Here's hoping for a good game. Am not sure it's going to be as one sided as some are saying. Yes I think we will win but it is a derby and that's one game am never confident about.Hope everybody has a safe journey
