It's no different to Pearson saying similar pre first CC run.People will read that article and draw their own conclusion.Dont need sanctimonious FC trolls spinning it to suit their hatred of Rovers. Even without new additions and VaiVai delay after 6 games we are seeing improvement on the field. May be a few set backs around corner in St's fc and Wig but it was never going to be easy? NH and RC are fans but obviously successful businessmen and doing a great if sometimes thankless job.Only met Hudge once at Wembley but he was as giddy as a fan and had time for us all. Hull fans don't like Hudge I get that but it seems personal for you DGM?
He's using his position to have an unprompted pop in the local rag at the fans who don't happy clap along with everything the club do. He's effectively saying that those fans who dare criticise and have higher expectations aren't true fans, despite them handing over their hard-earned very week. It's an unnecessary cheap-shot aimed at enforcing support from some and isolating others - from the looks of it he's got a number of cheerleaders on here backing his comments, so it's obviously worked. Smart guy.
Not sure he needs a few posters on a fans forum to back him up? It's simple really, when times are good fans are generally on same page and it's easy to discuss even when opinion is split. A bit different when losses mount up and off field breaches of conduct and rumored financial trouble and more dirty laundry yet to be aired.Hence your page being fairly harmonious in recent times then post OZ trip it's a war zone. Fans will be fans I wouldn't take it to heart.

I don't recall Pearson having a pop at the fans, could be wrong.
As you say, people will come to their own conclusions on Hudgell's comments, I'm stated mine. it's your choice to read and/or respond to what I've said. Rovers will be fine, not a great squad but Sheens doesn't need a great squad to get results. I expect you to finish above Hudds, Salford, Widnes & Catalans. We still don't have confirmation of what the league will look like next year, so we're not sure what's at stake by finishing in the M8.
I'm not sure he's done a "great job". Early years definitely, promotion then playoffs, but the last few seasons for you have been crap.

Well that's the point isn't it - fans are entitled to criticise and praise as they see fit.
Given half of what us Rovers fans have had to put up with since the Morgan years, Hudge has to realise there will be some disgruntled fans that want more than he can possibly provide at the moment. All clubs have that element of fans that want the world and more. There’s enough of us level headed fans to keep that realistic expectation of the club grounded though. Imagine the hissy fits from the “faithful” if they had to go through half of what we have over recent times. The level of abuse would make Pearson walk.

You are wrong..Not everything in the FC garden has been rosy. Only very recently have you lot been happy. Can you remember the "Radford out" demands, or have you got a selective memory and don,t remember Pearson backing his coach after a crescendo of fans criticism against your coach, which understandably has recently disappeared. It would be very interesting to see how long the "faithful"(joke) would wait before the "Radford out" quotes and demands would re-surface if you have a rubbish season, or even lose two or three more on the bounce. I,m sure it wouldn't be very long.. but thanks for your inciseful input. PS. NH is entitled to his views, him and the board pay the bills.
Always a pleasure. Feel free to read my post properly though, I said I didn’t recall Pearson criticising the fans, not that the fans hadn’t criticised.
I personally don't think he said anything wrong really we're just living in a social media world where everyone seemed to be outraged about nothing like the OP

Its called convienient memory loss what your suffering from.

Is that a medical term? You’ve all got access to Google (Craig probably uses Bing) to dig up any quotes from Pearson. Like I said originally, I might be wrong. If he did, the point still applies, a chairman slagging off fans who pay their hard-earned for airing their opinion isn’t a great way of conducting themselves.
