its a myth. nobody makes anything out of rugby league in this country , rich supporters fund most clubs that don't break even ,no sky = a lot of part time players, pearson or hudge will never get their monies invested back

Leeds Rhinos make a profit and even though we have a rich owner we still generate our own money
Rhinos turnover the amount of Wigan and Saints combined which is a sad indictment of the rest of the competition

I might be a lot of things but happy clapper aint one of them and me and the coffee woman have a long history of disagreeing about pretty much everything.

Owners buy rugby/football clubs for the status of owning one and definitely not to make money Pearson has tried to buy his way into numerous football clubs without success he hasn't got that sort of money yet you can buy a RL club for a fraction of the cost and you still get the chance to walk out at Wembley etc

Think Pearson is happy where he is at the moment, and busy planning the next Aussie trip in 2020
