I suppose we'll have to console ourselves by looking forward to a semi-final, 7 SL S8 games, likely SL playoffs, potentially a final, and a trip to Sydney in the new year.
Also, how much £ qualifies as a bumper pay day?
console yourself with what you like, I was responding to another duller on another matter whats all your crap got to do with us providing a bumper pay day for your club its true
I would guess looking at the fixture against Leigh (who replaced us) with 11000 in attendance rather than Hull KR with 21000 in attendance, 10000 tickets at an average of say £20 that's £200,000 plus the lost revenue in hospitality (which is always sold out) plus money behind the bars.
I would say that Hull FC have lost about £250,000 this season. Don't know about you but I would say that is "bumper" money, wouldn't you?
Eyup Ronnie, nice to see you. These sums were done last year.
So Leigh attracted 11k, last year v Rovers there was 17.5k in attendance. We can go somewhere in the middle and call it an 8.5k difference. £20 per ticket seems high, taking into account the price of juniors & concessions, and junior pass holders have free away game entry. Say £18pp. We make nothing from the bars. Hospitality neither of us know.
£18 x 8500 = 153,000
We also have to knock off a chunk for the Rovers fans that would've bought straight from the club, I believe each club keep 25% of away tickets sold. Assume 4,000 Rovers fans at £18 * 25% = 18k (135k)
Our "deal" at the KCOM I believe means that we only keep 50% of ticket revenue (over a certain threshold, which this is), so the £135k becomes about £68k.

slightly frigged I would say 10,200 against leigh and the way you've been going I would suggest a lot more at the derby game , and if that's the deal you have which I doubt anybody knows its a bad one ,

They're just assumptions, that's all we can go on. But yeh, terrible "deal" in retrospect, based on our pre KC attendances.
If Kr had been good enough, you wouldn't be having this money conversation. If Kr don't get promoted, that's nobody else's fault. All this Leigh & Widnes are crap, is daft talk. Believe me, Leigh and Widnes will be ready for the M8s, just like Wire & Cats will be. If you don't beat Fax in your first game, You will be in the brown stuff.

To be fair it's the FC fans who are saying Widnes and Leigh are crap the Rovers fans know how hard it will be against the SL sides

nobody is saying it will be anybodys fault but our own for not attaining promotion, having seen leigh and widnes play this year imo they have served up good and bad, so have we ,never really played a full strength team so we are all in dark at how it will go , one things for sure if we don't manage it this year we will go again next year if everyone sticks together.
