No . In sport you get what you deserve. I'm at a loss with this fc fans perception they are a "big fish" now.Yes last season and a half it's been upward trend in my opinion it was the 20-22 game that kick started this revival and as much as I'd like to devalue it it has been mostly positive for you.Why begrudge Leigh fans their place at top table? They got up fair n square. You generally come across as smug and I'm sure you will dig up a post from 2 year ago to back up your crap.i can see why people think you and Mrs bar is ta are the same poster.
Thanks for that.
I haven't stated I think we're a "big fish", nor did the post you quoted mention FC. You been out on the pop again? On that note though, since you brought it up, what would be your definition of a big club?
I'm not begrudging Leigh their right to be playing in SL, they earned it, I just hope they go straight back down to be honest as they bring absolutely nothing to the competition.
I see you've brought up Mrs B again. She really did leave a legacy behind when she got banned from here, fair play to her.
You say Leigh bring nothing into superleague? You champion Toronto at every opportunity catalans/Toulose intermittently.id take Leigh every time over over those, you are entitled to your opinion and you are very good with words and again remind me of George Galloway,or barista .whichever suits

Indeed I do. We're very close to going down an entirely different topic, but I'm always happy to talk about the need for RL to expand and open up new markets, broaden talent pools, attract new/larger sponsors and generate media attention. That's what those sides bring/could bring and Leigh simply don't.
Apart from 4 or 5 teams who have contested recent finals who else" brings" more than Leigh to rugby league? Relative success has made you very pious.I stand by my comments that I am only concerned with our attempt at promotion but not sure how Leigh are any better or worse than than your or any other team? Fan base?Own stadium?Club coffers? From the outside looking in they look fairly healthy club?

I've put my reasoning in the post above, and you're right, there are other clubs in SL that bring very little to the table too.
With or without gigolo or chase I felt cats and wid were the most vulnerable. Will galvanise them or be the tipping point. Lots of subplots in this and probably more twists to come

I just can't see Cats as vulnerable, their 4 home games will give them a massive advantage and they have quality in the side, the only question being is can McNamara get them up for it. I just think they are a better team than the 6 of the other 7.
Widnes have been favourite to go down all season, even missing the MPG. They've won less games than us last season and we didn't finish bottom. Betts should have been sacked months ago. The Chase situation simply compounds their plight. Of course, all that means nothing if we don't perform.....

widnes are pretty good at home but their fixtures are really bad for them. wire at home and trips to les cats and rovers. If those had been reversed they'd probably have won 2. As it is they'll lose all 3. To be fair to betts, he lost his play maker on the eve of the season and has the worst problems with injuries in SL this year with what was already one of the weakest squads. If they could get most of their players on the field for the middle 8's they'd be OK IMO but they won;t so probably will go down. I still think the mpg will be between leigh and widnes
