If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

In your defence, you are not alone in posting rubbish on here and definitely among kindred spirits. Maybe you should change your name to Spouta Il Loadashitta.

In my belief is it's just 'one of those really unfortunate things' arising from various circumstances. I don't think for one minute JB is trying anything other than to stop Shenton's momentum. An act seen countless times throughout any game. In the end JB tries to use his leg/body to assist in the process after initially being wrong footed. At the same moment or so Shenton's body starts to twist due to the exertions from the men above and his own momentum. In the end Boudebza's action appears to counter the forces from above and leaves Shenton's knee in that awkward position. It's obviously not clear exactly what happens, but I reckon the force of Green coming in over the top finishing the tackle, is perhaps what causes the serious knee injury rather than a much lesser injury.

Just one of those things for me, looked it it numerous times, no intent in it, it happens.
Gutted for Shenny he's our captain but on the other hand gives young Greg Minikin a chance to shine (I think he will).
Its Rugby League not Tiddlywinks
Good luck for the rest of the season.

4 match ban. The game is a joke.

4 game ban is illogical.

My additional edit text below.

I bet Darryl Powell has been lined up by the RFL to assist Wayne Bennett. I have little doubt his media comment has adversely skewed the outcome. Why else would the RFL reach such a perverse and unmerited punishment? Disgraceful.

Ah well. Just when you think the RFL have hit rock bottom, they manage to dig their hole a bit deeper. There is no consistency at all, we have all seen much worse incidents totally ignored. They kick off when it suits, and ignore when it suits. Totally inept and without rhyme or reason.

We Have a great game, and they continue to bring it into disrepute with poor management both on and off the field.

The 4 games has probably come because of the bleating from Powell and Shenton.

It looked innocuous to me and to most people but Shenton has every right to bleat if he thought it was reckless. He suffered the injury his season is over and it's a long road back to fitness.

Powell does a lot of that. Westwood got a harsh ban for tackle last season that was no worse than we see every week. Personally think 4 games is harsh. Probably due to the severity of the injury ,accident won't come into it. Expect to see more bans this season.
