Strangely that result could actually end up coming as a blessing in disguise because, If and when Rovers do come up against lower league opposition then I'm sure the challenge cup result against Oldham will be in the back of the players minds which should shake off any complacency they might otherwise have had.

Well, you would certainly hope so.

I have lost interest

Re: 1 Million pound game anyone ? : Tue May 24, 2016 9:55 pm
Here's something to make he Dobbins laugh. I found this on Up the Cream.

"Like Arthur Bunting Hull have a coach in Lee Radford who is now acquiring his more than justified praises. Bunting came into the role a legend whereas Radders has had to endure a lot of stick – some of it certainly unfair – but now along with Andy Last and Motu Tony, he has built a squad capable of winning titles."

Now I'm not laughing at the quote per say. I just thought you guys would laugh at the comparisons to Bunting. It also shows how very exciteable Hull fans can get half way through a season.

$1m pound game for both sides just at opposite ends of the table.

My Aussie laptop won't let me put in a Pound sign

Always been the same, pretty sure up the cream had a Radford out article no more than 6 months ago. There seems to be no middle ground with Hull, either title winners or utter garbage whereas the reality is somewhere in the middle.

Radford deserves praise for what he's done so far this year but to compare him to Bunting at the halfway point in the season would have been like us comparing Morgan to Millward after we beat Wigan away to go top at the halfway point of the 2009 season.

Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand
Workin' in the dark against your fellow man
But as sure as God made black and white
What's down in the dark will be brought to the light

Not all fc fans think like this and know were we are as a club . half way through the season and nothing's won in may but still nice to be enjoying some good results and watching some entertaining rugby after what seems like a good few years .

Agree with you last point fwiw

Please quote all these people saying we're going to win the title. In fact just quote a couple.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Or, alternatively, we can all just rest assured that you're once again displaying your character as being an idiotic boo rah kinda fan.

Lording it when your team plays well, hiding when they're not.

You must be well into your thirties by now, maybe even forty.

It's really time to get over being the first kid picked to run the gauntlet at British Bulldog and the last kid picked for the rugby.
