You might as well add Bradford, Halifax, Oldham and Rochdale into your list to get a full house.

I hope I can guarantee one thing and that is Hull KR never again underestimate a Championship side next season after the Oldham CC debacle at home and the almost banana skin headless chicken performance against Fev away in the Middle 8s last season.

I forgot about Bradford, the others I feel won't be challenging the top 8, no disrespect to these Clubs, as they will all be capable of causing a shock result, but I think Oldham and Rochdale are a bit light on experienced personnel, and There seems to be trouble in the camp at Fax,I like watching Fax however, and have a few friends there, but they don't seem to be going forward, I forsee a long hard season for them.

In reality there's three teams in that league and possibly Fev but they rely on dual reg a lot Halifax are skint as are Sheffield Batley have lost Kear the others should be nowhere near us if we aspirations of SL

My choice of a 17 Man team has changed due to injuries and would look like this;

1 Shaw
2 Oakes
3 Minns
4 Hefferman
5 Cockayne
6 Abdul
7 Ellis
8 Scruton
9 Lunt
10 Mitch Clark
11 Blair
12 Greenwood
13 Addy
14 Tilse
15 Lawler
16 Clarkson
17 Donaldson

Marsh (Inj), Wardill (Inj), Harris, Cator, Salter, Horne, Mulhearn, Moran, Milton, Jubb (Think that everyone up to press)

No I don't at all and as I've never said that I can't understand why you've quoted me as saying it I do think we should win the championship easily but promotion is another matter altogether

Agreed we're expected to run away with the championship, the dreaded middles 8s is a different matter.....

My main fear is 'complacency' and the Oldham debacle is still fresh in the memory.

Having spoken to Cookie he said it was a constant challenge to keep complacency at bay, but once the season reached Rnd 20 a new mindset developed.

I know we need good pre season fixtures to give us a stern test and this season more than ever to assure the right intensity. Hull and Leeds are perfect tests.

On the negative side, we usually tend to pick up a few injuries in these pre season games. These have tended to blight us in recent years come Round 1 when the season begins in earnest. I really hope we have better luck this year with injuries.

Surely it can't be as bad as last year.... i like the balance of the team this season two more players in and I would be fairly confident
