So apparently Kr will talk to Huddersfield and hull end of season if we get promoted to keep Ellis and Abdul, for me defo Abdul. But not Ellis he frustrates the hell out of me.. you can see he has great skills but he doesn't give 100%. He looks like he holds a bit back.. his kicking goals has gone off boil after not beating the record.. and his positional play sometimes lacks. But saying that he stepped up lost weekend

Ellis players better when we turn the ball outside rather than back into the ruck, ala Sunday, Leigh etc he also looks better when the game speed is higher.
But I share your frustration with his body language. He looks like he's just "going through the motions" as apposed to say ZDC who looks like the duracell bunny.

I think if we do keep them they will be back up to 2 better players if we go up

I think the only way we get Oakes if Rovers wanted someone off us (Abdul?)

Think the only way Abdul will leave Hull is fr starting rugby (which I do him getting at hull next year), so he would have to be promised that at Rovers.

I'm sure Hull would consider £30k or so plus oakes for abdul. I think connor has filled the slot that abdul would have been eyeing at Hull

No coach would promise a starting slot and no player worth his salt would expect that.

Are you in Radford's confidence then or did you just pick that statement out of the air?

I don't know what any of the three parties want to do next year but Abdul's wishes whatever they are will be important. At least he can make a decision based on his experiences at the two clubs. The clubs will also have their opinions on what he is worth.

FC are not in a position to pursue Oakes as he has a long term contract with Rovers. I have not seen anywhere that FC have expressed an interest. They could be in trouble if they do.

The oakes rumour is made up. It is such a good made up one that even the wail are referring to it now.

Abdul has a long term contract at Hull so he'll do what hull want

Oakes will be a superstar for us in the coming years. No way would Hudge sell him to our grubby rivals. It's up to them (FC) to unearth an Oakes instead of looking in our direction.
But by all means, sit and watch how good this kid will become, keep your Brad fashs' and the likes, we've got some right good kids coming through.

IMO Abdull will remain a Rovers player in 2018 on another season loan.

Rovers won't pay a transfer fee and Hull won't have room on their salary cap so it will suit both parties.
