The problem for me is , they don't use Carney enough, especially in situations 20 metres out from the opposition line.
Another annoying aspect for me was, why the hell didn't Marsh stick to Masoe like a limpet mine, there were one or two occasions were the big man was looking to offload but no one was there to take the pass. I've said all season that we've needed a top halfback and for me Ellis was not the man, I just don't rate him, though that is just my opinion of course.
I don't know what others thought but I thought that Atkins had a good game when he came on, except for the knock on very early on, it's a pity we didn't get him earlier in the season which would have given him more time to get up to speed with the way the team plays.
For me there has been to much tinkering with the team, even after allowing for injuries, we should have had a more settled side weeks ago. I also think bringing in Masoe at such late notice was a mistake, they should if it had been possible brought him to the club earlier.
I just hope Minns recovers next week and Rovers improve massively on that left edge, otherwise I fear Leigh and other super league teams will run riot.
