Keith, Monty has a good record with news on player recruitment on the Leigh board. Fair enough, it doesn't mean he's right here on your board, BUT, don't be surprised if he his right on this one.

Think it is fair to assume Bailey isn't thought of highly at Craven Park after what happened last time. Add to that we have 7 props (Scruton, Jewitt, Masoe, Mulhern, Walne, Johnson, Clavering) on contract plus Kavanagh who will play loose or prop I have a hard time seeing us signing any front rowers. Especially front rowers that would potentially upset the apple cart.

Personally hoping we are looking to strengthen the back row as a higher priority.

Can anyone seriously suggest we would resign Bailey after our experiences last time?

I’m pleased he’s still acting as your primary care giver.

There’s more chance of Alex Murphy making a comeback than Bailey pulling on a Rovers jersey again.

Perhaps, but our Chairman would be weaker if we gave another chance to someone who messed us about big time.

Having said that, his tries to games ratio in a Rovers shirt should stand him in good stead.
