Well there's rational thinking for you. If everyone thinks he's crap he's still a great player. Since Cookie saw the light he's done nowt, he was a one trick pony getting on the end of Cookies passes. If he gets in the England team it will be because Smithy is still loyal to the Aussies.

You've got to appreciate, most clubs have people on the board above this level of behaviour so in that context it was unforseen.
