If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Ha! Excellent, we've had so many rubbish players, it makes us uniquely qualified to recognise a rubbish player when we see one!

And the good ones stand out like a sore thumb that other teams see them as well, so we don't tend to keep hold of them.

I still have memories of singing Sully must stay (Anthony) and a certain Saints halfback leaving us early in his career.

Back on topic. We must keep Lunt and Blair above all else.

I brainwashed my sons and indictrinated them into the Hull KR family and started getting season tickets again for us all when I relocated to East Leeds area. I intend to keep supporting the lads next season as I will only ever support my home town club.

Everyone of clubs that move ground start remembering there old ground as this great thing I liked the old craven park from what I remember but when I see photos of it now I just think God what a dump same as the willows the boulevard etc

Ok, you win. I'm only 45 :lol

My eldest calls him a gentle. Unfortunately that sums up his Tilse's problems.

Sounds like he's going anyway.

Moving on.....

Think most have said the same as I think although I'd actively move Sio on. Great player but is winger really a position we would want a high paid o/seas player in. Josh is probably cheaper so I'd keep him.

Campese is a must go, he was crap on Saturday and that 5th tackle penalty was one of the key points that lost us the game. His kicking at the end was dumb beyond belief from a player with his experience.
Kelly, Tilse, Horne, Larroyer, clarkson, Cockayne, Boudebza Allgood all have to go.

Build around the rest, Lunt, Greenwood and Blair to top the list of get them signed now.

We will be lucky to hold on to Lunt Blair more than any of them maybe Minns might go but with a bit of luck he will stay along with Matlelato
Kelly Thornly Allgood Clarkson Cockayne Horn Larroyer Boudebza (looks like he has gone) would let go

Look forward to your response

Not far off. I would expect Tilse and Big Josh to go with the wage bill to at least halve. Add to your list Salter, Moran and Cator. I would still like us to go for Scruton and Clark, not fussed about Addy. I would expect Marsh to be a starting half back, haven’t a clue for scrum half at the minute. We need to try and keep Blair, Lunt, Greenwood, Minns and Walker.

With honest Adam's comments in the HDM about us, we could also put a cheeky season loan bid in for Jack Logan and Hadley who won't get much game time next year.

Re: Players next year : Mon Oct 03, 2016 3:32 pm
My choice would be very similar with just a few alterations;

1. Oakes (Bit left wing but he played Full Back for Eastmoor and there is a clip of him playing v Hull on you tube as an FB and he looks useful and assured)
2. Shaw
3. Wardill
4. Minns
5. Dixon
6. UNSURE with Marsh as back up.
7. UNSURE
8. Walker
9. Lunt
10. Scruton (Presuming he joins)
11. Greenwood
12. Blair
13. Clark
14. Lawler
15. Mulhearn
16. Donaldson
17. Jubb

We need to decent halfs and we will combat any team in the championship, the question is what 2 are available and will join a championship club?

The boulevard was a palace compared to the old CP which even had an old railway box cart in it if my memory serves me correctly. Used to be a great atmosphere in there though as it was very compact and enclosed and I well remember the day casey threw away his international captaincy there. I was also there for the final game (widnes?) and the first game at the new ground (trafford borough?).

I even pulled my boots on and played at the old place
