I agree but all the teams used to run a A team with great results Is it that costly to run the same again it was also a good place for players after a injury to have a run out before they played for the first team

Instead of u19s academy they should just up it to u21s and allow 3 overage players to play this does away with the u23s allows players to play coming back from injury or that are out of the team and makes sure players aren't lost to the game at 19

Is this not what dual registration was intended for? for the few that come through at the moment, playing at Newcastle or simular is perfect for growth and development

Would Newcastle want to give one of our untested youngsters a chance in such an important role?

that would bepend on their ability, if their worth a contract then must have something to offer. If not why are we retaining them?
They may not be physically ready but skill wise should offer something

That's what I mean, would you want to send a young halfback down to league one to get physically battered every week?

Dual registration can be difficult especially if newcastles structure is tottally different to the way KR play, also contracted Newcastle players could get cheesed off if they are training all week then a player comes in last minute from the SL club.

Didn't donny start playing in the same way you did or have the same structures

Hull's U23's last year were a waste of time. I think only hadley and naughton of the 1st team squad played any games and it wasn't used for players coming back from injury at all
