One of his (and Roversmad's) favourites is referring to Hull as "2016 Treble Winners". A bit like the numerous returns of Standee on our board, you'd have thought they'd be a little bit smarter as to not give the game away so easily.

Think what you like. You are wrong but in the words of Sheryl Crow 'if it makes you happy...'

Obviously we can't announce the new coach until we're safe in SL as it would be stupid to announce him then backtrack if we got relegated

I'd be surprised if bennett wants to coach in the championship

Not really. they get banned because they are idiots, not just because they act like idiots.

I can't take the credit for spotting this one though as it was brought to my attention by another poster

Re: New thread on New Coach : Fri Jun 17, 2016 4:46 pm
The board has overseen a stream of poor coaching decisions.
Appoint excuse-maker assistant Sandercock. Sack him mid season.
Appoint the very average assistant Chester. Sack him mid season.
Promise a 'top line' replacement on 1 March 'the deal is 95% done'. Nearly 4 months on - nothing.
Peacock appoints Webster and says 'James has all the tools at his disposal to see an immediate upturn in the club's fortunes.'
Hudgell says Webster will be the new coaches assistant.
Today Webster says his future is uncertain and there has been little dialogue.

Coaching has been handled poorly throughout Hudgell's tenure but for the excellent and (arguably) lucky appointment of Justin Morgan. We now look like heading into a critical phase with no certainty who the new coach is. And the man charged with our SL survival unaware of his own future. Great job.

Maybe peacock's involvement is the sticking point for a new coach? Supposedly he wanted nothing to do with coaching but is now involved in coaching and hasn't he said that the coach would be given the players and expected to coach them? Hardly likely to be an environment a decent coach would want to be involved with. hudds and possibly leeds and saints jobs could also be available by the end of the season so any good coaches may be hedging their bets.

You could do worse than appoint agar, but not much worse I'd expect

It made one of the mods on the Virtual Terrace happy, he confirmed that you are roversmad.

Not only are you dim enough to ignore frequent warnings and get banned but you start using another account within hours and post the same rubbish.

To stay on topic I don't care who your new coach is.
