If you are talking attendances, according to Koukash around 2000 Salford fans are making their way over on Saturday. So taking a line from one of the arguments put forward by Salford fans not attending home games, HKR is easier to get to than Salfords own stadium.

Just as a side note I see you have a Leigh based referee and a Leigh based touch judge for the game. So I guess one set of fans is really going to hate Leigh (if they don't already) by the end of the day seeing as you both lost to Leigh as well.

The way the Salford fans talk it's easier to get to base camp on Everest than it is to get to there ground the funny thing is Sale RU fans don't seem to have the same problem

Not to mention the reserve ref, J Cobb. :)

You won't have to worry mutch longer as not many Championship Clubs lay free buses on for their fans. :thumb:

That doesn't really tell the whole story though does it?

Salford's average attendance before the 6 point deduction was higher then the figure you stated. Who's to say that if we didn't get the deduction that our crowds wouldn't of maintained if not increased as we'd be in the top 8.

Leigh's highest attendance was a game where it was free admission! This will obviously boost their average as that crowd was probably nearly 3 times bigger then normal. What was their average before this game?

Don't make me laugh. Koukash in the past has spent millions on star signings to bring the crowds in, broke the salary cap to have these star names, rebranded the club back to it's original name, spent a fortune bringing Sheens over, tried reducing ticket prices. Have any of these brought any of the 200 odd thousand people in Salford District alone, never mind surrounding areas, to the AJ Bell? No. With the exception of Leeds, you have the biggest potential catchment for fans in the whole of Super League, yet the worst crowds. Make all of the excuses you like about stadium location etc.., but the glaringly obvious thing to fans of all other clubs is that the people of Salford/Manchester don't care much for Rugby League. It's sad to say, I'd like to see every city in the country be able to fill a stadium every week with Rugby League supporters, it would be fantastic for the sport, but it isn't going to happen any time soon unfortunately. This isn't anything to do with a like or dislike of any particular club, its an observation of something that's staring us all in the face. Salford/City of Manchester is predominantly football, Leigh is a Rugby League town.

Can't see anything other than a Salford win and relegation Saturday.

We're the worst team in the league and our back row is non existen

I've posted this before but Eugene was a terrible appointment.

Best hope is they are a broken group and not interested but I think they'll be keen tomorrow.

A fitting finale to this annus horribilis.

Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.

Let's leave attendances to one side as the people you whinge to are those who attend the games.
(As an aside, Sale fans I know [and I know several as I work in Stockport] state the figures are higher than they experience.)

We're not confident, you've got 3 over us this year, and neither of us have been the worst team in SL this year. I'm not looking forward to the game, you're not looking forward to the game, let's get it over with.

And hopefully we'll meet, as our respective clubs, in SL in 2018.
