I personally always admired him throughout his career, I remember many times standing on the west terrace (at Leeds as HKR fan) watching him walking back to the goal line and him getting a barracking from our fans after Leeds had scored and you could see he was a proper warrior, he'd look up and no one was going over that barrier to challenge him.

None were going to and it was all good natured stuff and I'm definitely not saying that Peacock was ever likely to do a Cantona, but for anyone to criticise him for playing last season when he was in a part time job at Rover's for crossing the whitewash is wrong. Just wrong.

I disagree , he was the reason you're in the Championship , too knackered to close down O,Brien , he basically just stood there and watched , ineffectual in the other games as well

Graeme Horne gets a special mention for the implosion towards the end of the mpg if anyone should of hung their boots up its him....

Could of done with having a bit of luck with injuries too and not spending a huge chunk of the cap on a crocked quota player....

Absolute tripe Starbug. Peacock played well in his attempts to keep us up,far better than Allgood Clarkson and Co. At 18-10 with 2 minutes to go we had it in the bag but Horne being waltzed around twice was the real culprit.saying that we had myriad chances to avoid the situation before MPG.blowing the Huddersfield game when a draw would have been enough.appointing Webster who whilst being a nice guy and good ex player is not the boss needed when in the muck.For me the only thing you could directly blame Peacock for is not lifting Kellys suspension for last 2 games when I suspect he would have seen us safe.In principal agree with hard line he took especially with reports of teammates being aggrieved with Kelly.Who suffered for the club's unwillingness to swallow pride and lift ban? Certainly not Mr Kelly

Now how many of these can be laid at the door of Peacock and how many lie with others (Chester, Hudgell & Crossland) we’ll never truly know but It became evident that all we lacked any direction or leadership on the pitch and that in the end killed us.

Peacock had a 'hand' in all of the points you raise as Director of Rugby (or whatever title he holds).

I don't blame any individual. I feel there was a collective level of complacency which had
seeped into the fabric of the club. I don't see it now, thankfully.
