This is why you have to strike early to get the players on the right money who want to leave a club rather than have to prize a player away from a club by paying far more than you should, the want away players will have soon moved on, as the current state of the squad id be happy if we won Widnes never mind fc. Pull your finger out sheens.

Sheens has said from day 1 he has a number of targets and will be highlighted once the WC finishes. Absolutely not surprised we haven't announced we've signed anyone yet, very few team have. I'll wait a bit longer before getting worked up about it.

Spot on. I think the only teams who have announced signings are ones who are making wholesale changes. (Wire, Leigh etc..) others have just announced 1 or 2 which they had sewn up before the end of the season.

I think some people on hear don't read whats put in the papers Ie mail or read websites you are dead write what he said lets wait and see we have had very good signings in the last minuets so plenty of time yet

Some years ago the RFL decided when teams got knocked out of the challenge cup at a certain stage they would be a comp called the plate can not remember its name to play for before the main cup match at Wembley we won it very easily but it was then never played again so I reckon we still have it
