Other than telling me ur a bit pedantic I aren't sure how to respond???

His ability to cover the halves doesn't make him a bad 2nd row option, just as the occasions when Newton covered centre and Galea covered the halves didn't make them any less of a 2nd row.

I wasn't trying to be pedantic it's just that he really didn't play SR that much due to injuries to Campese and to a lesser extent Kelly and I never said anything about him been a bad SR option quite the opposite in fact and you can't really compare his situation to Newton and Galea as they played in there SR positions 99% of the time

In Peggys world anyone pulling on a KR jersey is crap.Any young B&W is a future international.Kelly Taylor Watts and Paea were crud until guru Radford coached them. Back to this weekend and our win over Widnes was the only 2 points gained by those in the Middle 8 scrap .Catalans Salford Hudds Hull and Wakey all tasted the bitterness of defeat.

Fair dos. I think the comparison stands up, but I understand what you are saying.

In terms if the Widnes game my overriding emotion is relief! A home loss against what was a pretty poor Widnes team (with in game adversity) would have been a bit of a blow for morale. It doesn't change the feeling that the season will continue to be a slog, I just hope it eases the anxiety levels of some supporters.

Only in craigey's world. I've said many a time I see oakes ending up at Hull as he starts to achieve his potential and lawler and mulhern would go well in our pack. You also have some other good young players coming through so could be some good pickings for us in the next few years.

As for your more senior players, none are better than their counterpart at Hull and most significantly weaker.

Maybe you could like me to the bits where I've said all of our young players are future internationals or those players mentioned were "crud" until radford coached them?

You're in a mini league of 5 so beating the other 4 is important. You still have hudds and salford of those to play at home so those 4 points could be crucial

I think the biggest thing to come out of the Widnes game was the way we handled the sinbinning, too start the 10 minute spell as poorly as we did and recover showed pretty good character, there injuries obviously played some part but after they'd scored there tries i feared the worst.

Very tough run of games coming up now, 7 tough fixtures IMO.

I can't see Oakes ending up at Hull as he doesn't weigh 18 st so won't fit into Radfords copying of the Bradford model from the 2000s

It did work for them for a decade or so but times have changed Hull look great sometimes but like on Friday when they come up against a good team they can look very ordinary and clueless

Jake..You lot have had two good years, prior to that you were bang average. Now apparently you lot are the dogs ballcocks(err..no your not) As for good pickings..remember Briscoe, Cooke, and Hodgson all coming to us, not bad pickings for us! Things can change quickly, and we are trying to build after some adversity and are more than capable of being a top four club. Yes, you need a bit of luck, you had it previously with a virtually fully fit squad when other teams who were in the mix were badly affected by injuries which helped you.
One more bad year for you lot and wait for the "faithful" Radford out lot to re-appear.
Give us a fully fit squad, a couple of decent signings and lets see what happens...and keep your B and W paws to yourselves.
