Really? Not what I saw in his last season.....The one we got relegated in? One of the first to clear off. There maybe a reason he has been offered a Bum deal at the the Knights ( top meter maker or not )

And why shouldn’t he? He was out of contract. You would stay with an employer out of loyalty when offered a better job elsewhere? You would not consider your family?

But yet gets blown out in Aus and then wants to come back over here again on a three year deal? Nah......Seen too many of those type of players Thanks.

Sio gave his all and anybody who would say different obviously didn’t see many games he would probably have left relegation or not as he was offered an NRL deal

Don’t think that is true. Wasn’t he offered a contract but thought the offer was too low. So many supporters don’t accept that playing rugby is a job just like any other job but very short lived. It is unrealistic to expect them to have the same emotional attachment that fans have. I notice you did not say that you would put your
employer’s interests above your own. I’m sure you are very altruistic.

Nice to see Jake back. We don't even know if KR have made him an offer? Rumours Lui will be announced shortly but not sure if Sheens wants anymore outside backs and it's not even certain Sio will leave Aus if he gets decent offer? We can't all be linked with such great players as J Thompson and Matty Dawson

To be honest your 3 signings have all come from teams that didn't make the top 8 last year and they weren't even the better players from those teams although I like Keinhorst, Hall and Crooks both came from Leigh aswell.

I don't think either team can get excited about the current signings, I'm not sureany of them are going to help either team improve massivley, I think the key to either team finishing higher up the league is a bit of luck on the injury front as both team suffered badly on that front last year, unfortunaley for Rovers they are alreasy on the back foot with your best player out for most of next season.

On Sio, I don't thinking spending a big chunk of the salary cap and a quote spot on a winger would be best idea (I wish we could release one of our quota wingers to sign a forward).

Are you confident about Lui as you have Mcguire, Atkin and possible Carney, be suprised if you sign another halfback, it looks like Salford are building a decent side for next year, so i'd be suprised if they sold Lui?

Don't see the relevance of the players teams not making the 8 last season when you see how Warrington and Leeds have flirted with Qualifiers then Finals.Hauraki looks the least inspiring signing on paper but could do a 'Tickle' Lannon is a very good signing and Keinhorst is solid enough and remains to be seen how he goes as a regular starting player? Quinlan missing 1st half of season gives Dagger a chance and from what I've seen im confident he will excel.Im sure Thompson Dawson and the 2 bargain basement props will turn around your scorching 11 game streak. In short I agree with nothing you have wrote but other than that well done

Carneys not getting a deal I don't think. We will 100% sign a half back, relying on atkin/maguire when we are not 100% confident one of them will get through a season would be suicide. I'd like to see drinkwater or Lui if available. If the rumors of brierley happening are true that would not be ideal.

I do think expectations need tapering though, the market is not good for quality players and everyone is fishing out of the same pond. We won't see superstar signings for a while and the club have done right by signing up a bunch of young lads who can develop. Has to be the matra going forward as player pool diminishes

We have forgotten man Addy that can cover HB athough I reckon another HB specialist is required.

We still need a big experienced forward (or two) for the HBs to operate behind.

The one time I watched Sio in an NRL game this year, he was getting mullered. He might still be good but probably not as much as he was 3 years ago.
