How does the Visa affect you if you have no first team games to your credit in Aus, no disrespect but I can not see players currently plying there trade in the NRL as regulars, coming to the Championship unless lots of cash thrown at them but I thought you could not get a visa unless you had played a certain amount of first grade games ?
We'll be spending significantly less than last year, especially at the start of pre-season, and even the first part of the season itself. Four still to come according to Sheens, before the kick-off. We're only managing a budget rather than a live cap now, so while it'd be good to get everybody on board ASAP, leaving it later leaves more pennies in the piggy bank.
I vaguely recall reading that the visa rules had been tightened, so off-quota (ie EU or Kolpak passport holders) non-Feds are probably the future from that side of the world.
