We only play with 1 hooker but if we went with 2 we'd have to take lunt I guess as we have no 2nd hooker ourselves. blair wouldm't get anywhere near the back row and I'd take kelly if I had to have a half from rovers but would stick with tuimavave personally as he fits better with how we play
Much as I'm keen for us adopt a much, much, much more aggressive, one-dimensional, flattering by imitation approach, there is still the issue that some players are just inherently too Hull FC. Like Cro Magnon man, they're robustly built, but the suspicion remains that something is missing. See this article, with a picture of hirsute lad who could probably play 80 minutes at 9 and make 1000 tackles a season, for further details:

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

And then he'd be like, 'Look at your team, now back to me, now back at your team, now back to me. Sadly, your team doesn't win like me, but they could play like me if they used the Old Pies playbook. Look down, back up, where are you? You're in the middle 8s, with the teams your team plays like. What's in your hand? Back to me, I have it, it's two tickets to that thing you thought you would like but which turned out to be mildly traumatic. Look again, the tickets are now my man of steel award. Any thing is possible with the Old Pies playbook... I'm on an open top bus.'
Wouldn't say it to his face though, would I? No.
I'd be all like 'Hey Danny, how's it going? I didn't know you knew Andre!'

Theres only one player Rovers have who would improve our team at present that's Kelly, but he would have to get fit and have a proper pre season, think he would flourish with Syned other than that no one.
Josh or Ken do not bring the ball back as affectively has Talona or Michaels Fona and Yeaman are better than you have in attack and defence and all our forwards and Hooker are a league above yours and probably on a lot less money, considering your paying out full cap its hard to see where your spending the money

I believe that's a picture of former player danny brough. A little more hair than we're used to but pretty certain it's him

Got to disagree but you watch your team all season and see a couple of our games and vice versa see to me Kelly has been average this year with the odd good game and Sio is a class above your wingers and I'd put Thornley above yeaman but it's all about opinions
In the true fashion of GR, i've done a video for my Hull FC friends, it went down well on Sunday night after their return from our national stadium. I was going to keep it exclusive to the bin, but Mrs G persuaded me to share it. I hope Sammy doesn't mind. If it gets removed because of the YT connection, PM me and i will supply the link...

This will no doubt get the usual amount of outrage from the other lot but Hull's back line is being made to look a lot better than it is this year behind a pack on the front foot, put that same back line behind what ours has had to deal with most of the year and it would look below average. I'd add Houghton into the mix as well, yes he's been very good for you this year and rightly deserves the plaudits but he wont turn a team thats getting dominated. Sneyd is similar, once players get in his face he looks below par.
Talanoa, Fonua and Michaels are riding on the back of Minnicello and Ellis and the go forward your getting form Taylor and Watts.
Shaul, Ellis, Minnicello, Taylor and maybe watts and thats all I'd bother with.
