Yes it was. Our game management was excellent. We had little opportunity to attack and badly missed Quinlan when we did.
You have a good side and your best chance of making the top 4.
If Carney can be bothered to play and contribute you may win something.
My guess he will spend a lot of time with muscle injuries tossing it off. |

I thought Rovers looked good last night. I wouldn't want to draw them in cup or middle 8.

I thought their disipline let them down,they where being coached by the ref at one point.As for that try,isn't the scrum half suppose to retire behind the front row after the put-in? Thats retiring back behind your own front row that is,not the oppos. |

I watched it last night and initially thought that Dobson was complaining he was impeded by the referee. Watching the replay I was astonished to see Ellis end up where he did ! That decision gets referred to the video ref and I reckon it would be chalked off.
Good stuff from Rovers though, Lunt is a class act. Pleasing (from my Hull FC perspective) to see Jordan Abdul being so involved and looking in such good shape.

You defended well but your attack never really troubled salford. A team with a bit of awareness around the scrum would have nilled you. You need a proper half back and a 2nd row that gives you some more threat out wide. I'm sure quinlan would improve things a bit
