Can't make it from down here, but I'd be very interested if any could post a summary.

Certainly Mild Rover I'll post an update once meeting has taken place, but this is the first of a number of public meetings that will take place before any Supporters Trust is constituted at Hull KR.

I thought that the lady from the Supporters Trust gave a very thorough and detailed presentation. With regards my fellow Robins, i felt that there are differing views as to the aims and purpose of a Trust. With that in mind i think we are some distance off forming a Trust that would have a clear purpose. There is no reason why further meetings couldnt take place but i fear that at present there are individuals who have their own agenda that will stop this getting off the ground.
Mike Smith was 15 minutes late aswell which i thought gave an indication of how important the Club view this. He also proceeded to talk rubbish..

Thanks for the feedback, I'll be honest, I don't think the club want this, doesn't seem their style. If it was something they were interested in then they would have promoted this meeting on the club website. Shame really. Did many people turn up RBA as it didn't seem that well advertised, other than on these boards.

I can see why, in fairness looking at it from their POV.

Still think it would be desirable from the POV of the fans of any club. It'd clearly be a big challenge, and traditionally it isn't how we've done things in this country - hence the need for it to be explained, I guess.
RBA, out of curiousity - what sort of agendas? Megalomaniacs who'd hijack it or resistance from the club (as I say, understandable - you chuck your cash in or you accept extra 'accountability', nobody wants both) or something else?

There were about 30 people in total which the lady from the Trust said was a good turnout for what should really have been a "closed" first meeting. In order for it to work she said that the next "open" meeting should in her experience be attracting circa 150 fans.

People within the club are very active behind the scenes right now in speaking to various organisations and supporters with exisitng experience of 'Supporters Trusts'

NH also mentioned the intention of the board to help instigate a successful 'Supporters Trust' in his HDM interview last Saturday.

The fact is, that this is going to be a huge undertaking and needs a lot of work to even 'bring to the table' and those who attend the subsequent 'open' meetings will hopefully find more 'meat on the bones'....

I find this hard to believe on both counts. Are you sure it was him?
